Big Backpack–Little World

June 9, 2011

Every day I start the morning with a look at Amazon to see if my book has been listed. No, not today. They never tell you when, maybe in a week or two. What’s that about?

Publishing is a job I wish I would have given to someone I don’t like. It is eating my life up. First I had to get it to Amazon. Then I had to create a Facebook page for the book, and do a Twitter account. The worst is still to come with converting it to a Kindle, which has taken me two days, and it’s still a mess.

My new life as an almost published author, consists of sitting at the computer for ten to twelve hours a day. I’m quite sure I’m getting hemorrhoids from all the sitting. It has also taken away my beach time, and that is just not acceptable. I’m making a life change today and going to the beach. I’m starting to look as white as a tourist.

Today is my day to play!

Remember your reference to publishing a book being like giving birth?? Well, after it is all over with you forget the pain & enjoy the results!! Can’t wait to read it! Enjoy your beach time, we are snorkeling up here, & it ain’t by choice!

I’m looking forward to putting it on my Kindle.

I am also, but we may have to wait a month before it will be available. I hate waiting. Thanks for your support, and hope you’ll give it a review when finished. They say reviews are important, good or bad. Happy reading!
